Crate and Barrel canceled my order for linen drapes. I had been led to believe by their deceptive marketing that the drapes were still in stock, but when I checked out, the order was canceled because there were no more in inventory.

Late deliveries

The website is easy to navigate, with a large selection of whisky and other alcohols. The items arrived well packaged and as described. However, the delivery date I selected was crucial because I was purchasing the items as a gift for a particular occasion. The items did not arrive on time, which led me to have to purchase a duplicate of the intended gift elsewhere.

Delivery - done

I have not tried any of the wines I recently ordered, choosing to give them time to settle down after their long journey. Laithwaites' delivery via usual reliable courier was excellent as usual, with the delivery being within the two-hour estimated slot on the tracking notification. I had one concern, however—Laithwaites appears to reserve payment and charge card on their system as far as two weeks before the delivery takes place, which will make me think twice about ordering wine regularly.

The delivery scheduled for the week commencing 25th April was not received until Monday 2nd. It should have been left in the greenhouse ( if no one is home ) but was left on the patio. Our neighbor found it on Tuesday and used a tarp to keep it dry until we returned from holiday. The bottles had to be retrieved individually and stored in our cellar until we return.

Ordered a bottle of Blanton

I ordered a bottle of Blanton. It arrived in four days. The bottle seems authentic, and the shipping was quick. However, the bottle has a 2-by-4 inch white label with what appears to be Mandarin letters and words. Where does this label come from?

Would order again

It was my first order with a sip of whiskey, and I was very satisfied. I ordered 2 bottles of Brothers Bond. A couple of minutes after the payment, I received an email confirming my delivery and the date. The goods were securely packed and packed in a box, and it corresponded to the delivery dates specified at check-out. I will definitely order from them again.

Great wines

Great company. They have an easy web page to browse and order from, and a very rapid turn around after I have ordered wine from them. Their prices are in a range that matches their quality. Their wines have always matched my tastes. Even if a particular wine for some reason did not meet my standards, then no questions arose. A full refund is made immediately. I love quality wine and I like good prices. Here I receive both, and I have confidence that a refund will be made upon request.

I like that I can taste different wines, and over the years I have not liked just a couple of bottles. I have a few favorites that I'm constantly reordering. I always get quality wines from them. Very satisfied with the service and fast delivery.
